Ashti Meets Birdman Al is a fun and interactive story that will teach your child about Jazz music, instruments, Jazz musicians, and how to make an impact in their community. They will even learn how to scat!

Join Ashti, a spunky 9 year old, and an elderly man - Birdman Al, as they journey through Jazz together to save a school’s music program.

This app will teach and inspire your child to start playing an instrument, love Jazz, scat, and learn about Jazz singers. Children will also be inspired to listen to outdoor sounds to make music.

Kids will also be a part of the Peppermint Candy Club, a free club that encourages kids to spread love.

When the author was a litter girl, her Grandfather started the Peppermint Candy Club. He’d pass peppermints out to show love to disadvantaged children. When they received the peppermint, they would be in the club. Once in the club, the only requirement is that they show love to others. The legacy continues. The author hides Peppermints in all of her stories to remind kids to pay love forward. Kids are always excited to look for peppermints and talk about the important message behind them.
